Watch Description

Hi all  -   This little gem is one of four ladies watches I received this morning. I believe it may be a "1935 Lady Bulova".  The movement is a 7 jewel 3AN which has a triangle mark . the case is 10k Gold filled and has the name Bulova followed by a shield stamped at one end of the case and the serial number 512301 at the other.  the bezel has a diamond set in a triangle at each end , and the bracelet is also set with stones including the catch.  This one of the prettyest watches I have come across so far.  Unfortuatly its not running at present but, I believe its may just need a good clean and service I think this little beauty will be well worth trying to get back into working order.

P. S  my wife has already taken a liking to it  :-)

I see some 1935 Miss Liberty and Miss America models which have similar shape and jewel count, but nothing with this diamond in white triangle and engraving on bezel verticals.

I think these may be the ads you're referring to George. They are both showing the 1935 Lady Bulova. One is not very clear but lists the movement as a 7 jewel and the other is clearer, but doesn't list the movement jewel count.

BEAUTIFUL watch George, I can understand that your wife has staked a claim to this one!

I rather think it's the Lady Bulova from the advert Alan has above. The bracelet doesn't have to match the ad but I think the case does.

Case does seem to match the watch in the first ad (the catalog ad Plains found years ago).  The second ad is a black and white version of what also appears in the 1935 Sat Evening Post in lower resolution, but color.   The area where the bezel meets the lugs in this ad is tapered, while the subject watch is squared where horizontal bezel meets the lugs (like shape in Plains catalog ad).
I'd be good with 1935 Lady Bulova ID.

Miss Liberty 1932 and 1934 ads are similar too.

Based on ad dates, maybe the Miss Liberty became the Lady Bulova by 1935??
Here's a 1935 ad Fifth used in another record.  This would cover the yellow gold and white gold cases.

I would be inclined to Lady Bulova also

Looking at the last ad pic l do think this matchs my watch more closely than any of the others posted
