Can we please have a clear, focused photo of your watch as it's difficult to see the style and details on the back case.

Dear Brandall54, first some questions for you. Is there Bulova on the dial? I can’t see it clearly on the picture provided. Is there Bulova stamped anywhere inside or outside on the case? Let us know.

There is nothing printed or stamped on the back. On the inside of the back is the leter N and it says "base metal stainless. That is the only thing printed anywhere on the case. I don't know what an abulica is but the only thing on the face is the word Bulova

I hope this one is a little better

Sorry about the strange word. That was just an autocorrect of my lousy typing. I meant Bulova of course on the dial.

with respect to your watch I suspect that the case is not original. Someone just put a Bulova movement inside. Also the (early) 6AF is not in line with the style of the case that is from much later date. I vote for non conforming.

I looked through the ads and didn't find anything like it.  I agree with Alex, the age of the movement (1925) does not seem to match the case which appears to be non-Bulova.

It was not uncommon for movts to be placed in different cases if the case was getting beat up, especially when different companies used the same size/type of movt. The main goal of the watch repairer was to effectively extend the service life of the watch, often with no regard to future 'originality'.

I would agree with Non-Conforming.
