Found this beautiful example of a 1936 Farragut with an awesome period gold filled bracelet. The watch is a 10KT Yellow Rolled Gold Plate case with the distinctive Farragut dial. The movement is 7 jewel 6AR with a square date code. The 7 jewel movement is similar to the others in the database unlike the ads which say 15J. I have not seen any confirmation of a 7J ad but based on the number of 7J Farragut's in the DB it seems to be a a standard model. The best part of the watch is this stunning gold filled bracelet which based on the ad seems to be the original. Unfortunately it is about 1/2 too small from my wrist.
I almost missed the top and bottom dial details. It's all there for a perfect match to a 1936 Bulova Farragut, noting the 7 jewelled movement.
