My preliminary call would be 1936 Ranger. Bulova New York case. Its 10 K roled yellow gold. There's some brassing around the edges. The 10AE movement with 15 jewels has the square date code and matches the others in the database. I'm almost positive the band is original. After I took the pictures, I put the watch on and it broke and so did my heart. The leather was just too old and fragile. It was absolutely perfect for the watch. I'd like to find a replacement that looks like it.
In reply to Yes I would agree it is a by Kathy L.
Thanks, Kathy. I haven't found that band in any of the ads for the Ranger (though I'm positive I've seen it before somewhere). But the ads have given me some ideas. There's a woven leather band in a couple of the ads for this watch that would look pretty good on it. And I think it will be much easier to find one like it.
