I had to go back to the 1957 Linebook BAWD00132 to find a match.   It appears to be a 1967 Bulova Montgomery Pocket Watch based on the case serial number begining with a 7.

Montgomery looks like a good match.

Very interesting watch, I am at a loss on how to even date it. No import code or date stamp on the movement and no date stamp on case that is marked "Bulova Quality". I think this was a reference to gold plate thickness used before 1940?

Crown ring differs from Montgomery ad, and it's impossible to tell if ad is showing case engraving or reflection of the mohair it's displayed on. After doing a database search for "17AE" movements and looking at what has been ID'ed (taking movement dates, case markings, movement markings and serial numbers into consideration) I have to believe this watch is a

1937.

Still looking for a name........

At this point, I am at

I agree Bob, I was not sure about the date as well.  On another pocket watch recently we ended up going with a 30s or 40s date because it didn't have a date code.

Esta informação é muito interessante para o conhecimento da identidade deste modelo Bulova. Realmente aquele "66" ou "99" intrigou-me.

Ficamos à espera que alguma luz se faça. Agradeço o vosso trabalho tão importante na identificação e história destes maravilhosos relógios.

You are most welcome. I suspect the "66" - "99" is a Swiss maker hallmark, rather than a date.

Provavelmente!

it is interesting that the Linebook listing is 1957 and the serial number begins with a 7.   Could be a 1957.
