Hi all. I've recently purchased this watch from Ebay and from all research (on the myBulova site) information I can put together I believe it to be a 1937 Goddess of Time "Rita". I have searched for hours and cannot find a photograph of that actual model anywhere though to be 100% sure though and it does have a different wrist band than the original advert as well. Being very new to this hobby I can only assume that this happens as I'm sure that they break over time, especially after 85 years. There are at least 3 hand scribed numbers on the inside of the case that I cannot get to photograph entirely together - reflection from light along with scratches and swirls make them very hard to document in photos. I can mostly read them through my microscopic glasses and can post them if anyone thinks they will help further. This site has been an unbelievable treasure of information in my hunt and this watch has proven to be an interesting mystery hunt here at the beginning of my new hobby, very exciting.

Hi JimDon, appreciate your taking a look at my watch. I was fairly sure but spent quite some time looking for an actual picture of the "Rita" watch and was not able to find one anywhere, so I'm happy to be able to share it.
Very new to this hobby. Next I've got some studying and research into cleaning and restoring. I'm a computer tech and bookkeeper by trade but hoping if I can repair a cell phone or iPad (or service my truck) I'm up for the challenge. Although after purchasing and now receiving some of the vintage ladies watches, I'm a bit surprised at how small some of them are - the parts on my truck are a lot bigger lol. Just bought a couple larger pocket watches to practice on and on my way to pick them up
Have at least one more Bulova to share later when I get home. Excited for another mystery to solve. I bought most all my first handful of watches on a whim and what I thought were cool looking, no research ahead. So I'm not expecting them to be rare or valuable but still fun to look at.
