This looks a lot like the Senator of the same year and matches the jewel count in yellow gold Senator.  So perhaps an engraved variant of the Senator?

Any thoughts?

I would agree, although there are no ads to back up its existance there are others in the database.

Fifth,

Yes I see yours in the Senator database now.  Engraved in white.  The right jewel count for a white Senator too.

How does it work around here - do I change this to Senator, or is there a panel or something that decides?

I guess that I change it and somebody else gives it stars...

Yes, in which case (no pun intended) it should receive 2 Stars as a tentative ID.

The Watch shows all the characteristics of the 'SENATOR' including the correct Jewel count for a natural Gold Case.

You post it as what you think it is, members that vote, research and confirm or offer other suggestions. Then there's a lot of debate, discussions, pow-wow's, more debate, bribes, smoke-em the peace pipe, more discussions and more bribes then voting.

Once all the bribes (I mean votes) are counted and everyones happy or asleep, your done!!!

Just kidding :-) (except for the bribe part) In reality, the voting members take a look, and research the ad database and vote. It could be quick or slow, it all depends on know models.

Does the same engraving pattern carry onto the Bracelet?

Bracelet is the same design as shown in the 1936 ad, plus the engraving, matching the Case.

B/R - Bell & Ross.

Yes, bracelet engraving is the same.  Pretty nice to get an original bracelet in good shape.  It was an 'bay gamble on a not good picture.

Glad to know the process for ID's now.  I got a real doozy that I am going to post in the next little while...
