Case measures 32mm lug to lug x 26mm non inclusive of the Crown using Calipers,

Original White Dial shows applied Gilt Arabic numerals and Bulova signature, tracks are printed Black. Hour and Minute Hands are Gilt Modern style and a Gilt Modern style Seconds Hand appears on a sub Dial fully obscuring the 6.

Unclear if the Bulova signed Crown is correct for 1938.

Snap fit Caseback is Gold and is stamped as shown.

In first 1936 ad it (incorrectly??) has commodore listed as both white gold and yellow gold.  In next two 1936 ads w/ this watch, it indicates commodore white, Apollo yellow gold.  In 4th ad w/ this watch, only yellow gold Apollo listed.  three star ID from me.

Very nice.  The signed crown is nice but much earlier than my earliest example....Great watch, I have had my eye out for one.  Good catch.
