Yes, perhaps we can. Are there any words printed on the back or on the inside of the back. I suspect that the three markers on the dial, at 3, 9 & 12 held a gem stone at one time, perhaps a small ruby or a sapphire like the ones on the case. From the case markings we will try first to establish that is a Bulova made case and at the same time try to date the watch.  I think I see a circle date code mark on the movement (right hand side very near the edge) that indicates the movement was made in 1944.

I think I see the square. To the left of the screw in the lower right corner. If that is correct, the movement is a 1946. If the case has no markings on the inside or outside, it is a replacement case made by another company, not Bulova. The face is very similar to a Beau Brummel, which had rubies in the spaces at 12, 3 and 9. Like this one:

We have no record of Beau Brummel watches with your face in 1946 that I can find, although the movement model is a match. Someone put a lot of love into building this watch. It may be an authentic Bulova face with the red stones removed because case stones didn't match.. It may also be a accurate reproduction of a Bulova face that was purchased with the replacement case that had blue stones that fell out over time. Your watch is a re-rebuild of a damaged Bulova watch.

Although it's a nice watch as seen, it is not possible to give it a Bulova model name because it's not a Bulova case. We refer to watches like this as "non-conforming" because they are a mix of Bulova parts and non-Bulova parts. It's not a bad thing. My call is

1946 Non-Conforming.

Thanks for sharing it! It is quite unique and attractive with the blue stones. Wear it and enjoy it.

I don't think this one will have a Bulova ID either based on the additional information. Had the case been gold content marked with a BULOVA hallmark I might suggest it an Unknown. With no markings on the case at all I'd have to say it's non Bulova case and therefore Non-Conforming as well.

Very nice watch but with the non Bulova case I'm at Non-conforming as well.
