Case has too many variation. its very close but certainly different and we can't put it down to an 'artists' impression as it looks to be an actual photo of the watch used in the ad.

Difference:

  • Lugs
  • Recessed crown
  • Top and bottom of the case.

Dial and hands look the part, but the case......

admin,

possibly the angle of the photograph but the case is identical to the one shown in the ads and to other 'PRESIDENT's of this era in the database.

OK, this ad makes it a bit clearer. Case seems to match a bit better. The lugs on yours just look to have a softer bend and the crown isn't recessed. Still, happy with the ID.

Possible President "K", Aug 18, 1944 Harrisburg Telegraph, Royal Jewelers ad.  And Aug 8, 1943, The Scrantonian, Joseph Square Deal Jeweler ad.
