Dear friends, this is the first time I write to this forum. Some weeks ago I bought this watch and I wonder what model it is. From the pictures in the pages of the catalogues shown in this site I would dare to say that it seems to be a Carrel but being green about watches I kindly ask all you experts to give me your idea of it. I like it very much and it runs well. It runs one minute late per day... Is it acceptable?
Actually I was looking for a Bulova watch I have been in love with for years but it seems to be hard to find: the Black hawk. The black one with all the twelve numerals and with the center of clear colour.
But, actually, in the internet I have never seen a watch similar to the one I am posting.
Would somebody help me? Thank you from Italia

I am trying to follow your instruction but I am afraid I failed. There is not any "Carrel" name among the others in the list that the button opens. I thought to choose "Others" and then to write the name...
I have another question. How come I see dozens of pictures of almost all the Bulova models and no pictures of the Carrel but in the old catalogues and vintage ads? Is it a scarce model or it was not a favourite one in the market at that time?
Thank you all for the time you are turning towards me.

You are correct on all points. The "Carrel" is not listed in the watch database, and it should be. Please enter your watch as "Other", then type the name in the blank, just as you suggested. Eventually, Admin will add the Carrel and change your watch listing to that name.
You have the first Carrel to be posted in the database, so, yes, I think that would qualify it as a scarce model. I just recently acquired a Carrel; it is not posted here. I have not seen any others.
