Watch Description

I am unsure on everything with this watch, I bought it at an antique shop about 15 years ago. I have not taken off the back to see the inside.

I purchased this watch from an antique dealer about 15 years ago. I had this watch in storage and since we recently moved I "found" it again. I have become very interested in details about the watch, i.e. date and model. I have not taken off the back because I don't want to damage the watch in any way. I have tried surfing the internet for pictures but I can't find a Bulova watch with such a square face. The back of the watch reads the numbers "c341067" and the band reads "1/20 10K GF TOP FOSTER" If anyone has any information on this watch, I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

There's nothing else on the back?

Opening it shouldn't be too hard, it should pop out with a bit of leverage.

Distinctive case should help ID this.

No, nothing else on the back. I will try opening it, however, it seems pretty tightly closed.

Krystal, on the movement with the back open there should be some numbers stamped into the movement like 7AK, 10AE, or some such. You may need a magnifying glass or jewelers loop. Let us know. Bob

There should be more information both inside the back case and on the movement itself. You may need a magnify glass

I believe it reads 6 AM or 6 AH . UNADJUSTED 17 SEVENTEEN JEWELS, SWISS T, BXW or SXW. I apologize, this is all I see on the back of it.

OK it's a 1937 or 1941 and if like you said "T" that makes it a 42' year date code. The "T" was on the movement, right?

Well I'd guess at this point it's 6AH with a 1942 date code. Check the ads for 1941 to 1943 to start.
