This is a believe a 1942 Goddess of Time.  This is the first Bulova I have gotten knowing it probably wouldn't work.  I was really curious to see this dial in person before spending more on a working version.  I am happy to say I really like it and will look to add a nice working version at some point.  It came with a nice velvet box and I like the strap so I figure it was still worth getting.  It sets but winds looser than my working watches so I am assuming something is broken.  Thanks for confirming the name and model if there is one.  I found an ad with what looks like the case but the face is different.

Looks like a Goddess of time, and the dial matches George's watch:

I haven't seen an ad that shows this dial yet.

Thank you for confirming the name.  Would it be a "B" like the ad says by the case style or would the different face change that?

Agree with Rob Goddess of time (no variant)

Quite possible another variant. The dial really makes this watch stand out from the norm.

General 1942 Bulova Goddess of Time for now, until we can determine if the dial was given it's own variant letter.

Thank you.  I am not up on the terminology yet but I will get there.  Now I know more about variant letters.
