Watch Description

This two toned Senator has both the 1941 and 1942 date stamps on the movement so I'm unsure as to what actual date it was sold.  More than likely 1942 but I can't be sure, but obviously they didn't change anything with the model. The movement is a 17 Jewel, 8AE.  It runs great and really is one of the nicest finds I've had.

One would be the original production date the second the final assembly. eg: Part (the bridge) manufactured in a 1941 run and the movement completed and cased in 1942. If You notice the older stamp is machine pressed, deeper and with cleaner lines, the newer a  hand stamp.

looks like a 1942 senator to me.  Stars three.
