Additional Information

Just finished this awesome mono-pusher chronograph. Easily one of my favorite Bulovas ever made. I got it with a broken balance, some broken cannon pinion gears, and just generally dull and neglected. After a full clean, new parts, oiling, a polish, regulating, and a new crystal this watch is looking and working like it should.

Fabulous watch Aaron - you did a great job restoring it.

I am going to vote to call this beauty - 1942 Chronograph.

Yep, I have one here in my shop and it is called 42 one button cronograph. A great watch and very unusual.

I've never actually had one of these... super nice.  I'm good with the Chronograph.... super rare!

A true collectors piece and one of Bulova's earliest Chronos.

Great restore.

This was also produced in house by Bulova.

A few years later they went with the Val-Jous two button chronograph.

First post here, as I only recently bought my first BULOVA.

It was a bit of blind purchase, as I could not see much from the photos.

I received an incomplete 42 One Button Chronograph. The GF case is in grate condition as is the movement. I believe that some time ago, someone stripped the chrono parts and left a plane watch. At the moment i am missing the chrono parts, the push button crown, and probably the original dial. Any advice on how to find parts? A spare movement?

You might PM Aberlow. He may have a few spare parts.

Arrow date code on movement would be 1937.  I think that's a little early for this movement.  Didn't Rev Rob note this movement came out in 1939?
