Watch Description

Hi all

This is the last of my purchases from last week.

I believe its a 1943 president. Case is marked Bulova , Fifth Ave, New York on the inside. The outside is marked Bulova 10k gold filled and serial number 3210355. I am not sure if the bracelet is genuine as its marked, made in Germany, Americ, ROM.

The case seems in very good condition and the movement runs well and keeps time. Although I have cleaned the dial, I think it will be going off to international inc for a redial.

P.S. I have finally found the close up button on my camera hahha

President also.

There is a Sear's 1943 ad that identifies the 'D' variant, looks to be a match, but is the 'D' variant used for both the leather strap and the expansion band? We don't know which one this watch originally came with. Also, a few years earlier the version with the rounded lugs (vs. the more angled ones here) was called the 'D' and then a few years later the angled type was the 'A', I think. President, nonetheless; variant possibly 'D' for this watch

Yep.... President.  Not an original bracelet.

Done, president.

Ken - the "D" is tempting based on the ad. I'm going to stick with the generic 'President' ID on this one though. George, if you do re-dial, make sure IDC puts the minute track back on.

I like these, and my own personal choice would be to do the dial, it really makes the watch.
