It appears that I forgot to thank all for the assistance in finding what appears to be the correct name/model for this watch. Thank you all...It is an amazing piece It sat in my fathers drawer my entire until his death in 2004. The winding stem pulls out but the watch can be wound. The hands can't be moved to set the time. It keeps near perfect time! 1945 War Ace makes sense because my dad was a WWII Veteran and most likely my mom purchased it for him.
