Does it mean, that the watch is from 1946?

I think I can see at triangle to indicate 1945 - but I am not sure.

Is there anything I need to know about this watch?. Is it rare or common?

It is a present to my grandfather from some family members, who went to america 10-20 years earlier.

Hi Billie - welcome to myBulova. The ad is dated 1946 but you're correct with the triangle for 1945. It's hard to determine the rarity but Bulova was a mass producer of consumer goods so it is likely to be more common than uncommon. By 1945 there were fewer pocket watches being sold than wrist models though.

Either way it is a beautiful watch.
