Watch Description

1945 Bulova Joan

Case is marked as 14KT Rolled Gold Plate and is in the rose/pink gold color. Looks to have the original bracelet, whcih is very corroded on the clasp. Movement is a running 17-Jewel 7AM with the Triangle mark.

I found one ad from 1947 that is a possible match, it is in two parts: ad-1  ad-2

What a cool looking watch.

Matches the ad, and 1945 also. The movt and case appear to be in very good condition.

Joan for me.

Looks like someone wore that watch quite a bit, that would be why the clasp is corroded so much, the rest still looks pretty good.

Agree with the Joan ID.

Another nice one. Ditto the  "Joan" 1945

This was my first time working with rose gold and it came out pretty nice; at first the bracelet looked to be a yellow gold that didn't match the case, so I thought it was a replacement. After cleaning it and finding the ad that matches it, it certainly looks to be the original basket weave type, and a well worn one. Case and case back have a couple of dings, but otherwise they are in good condition with very little wear; and the crown looks to also be rose gold.
