Hello Kap. welcome to myBulova. I assume this is a family piece as you know it's history back to purcahse place and date. Your watch looks like it's been well cared for. I've looked  (a couple of times) through our database but don't find anything in the adverts that matches it. For now I have to suggest "Unknown" for the name.

Thanks for sharing it.

I notice that the 10BC movement looks to be date stamped from 1946; so perhaps it is not the original movement or the watch is actually dated to 1946 (case s/n beginning w/ '5' is 1945, movement is 1946). Is there a datestamp on the caseback or the movement, such as L#

The watch also looks to be a match to the 1940s Officer; an example here.

Thanks

I do not see any date stamp beginning with L# on the watch.

Thanks, It would appear then that your watch was produced in the mid-fourties based on what we are finding and the lack of any L# datestamps (1950s). Can you confirm the mark on the movement under the word 'unadjusted' is a circle or a square, or other symbol?

Thanks, the circle datestamp equates to 1944, but the case serial number beginning with the number 5 is from 1945; so we can determine that your watch is from 1945. Also, is it not uncommon to have case and movement from different years +/- 1-2 years.

Agree with Officer probably 1944 (circle on movement)
