1946 Bulova "Director" 21J 7AK Movement, Running Strong, 10K White Gold Filled Case and back in near Mint Condition, Fancy Rhinestone embellished Black Dial with Silver Hands in super condition, Neat Beveled Crystal (wont show up on the picture) in Excellent Condition, Nice Topps Stainless Expansion band really makes the watch.
I have this same watch minus Rhinestones, is there an add that describes it in white with grey dial? '47 His Excellancy shows white gold in description but no grey dial so confusing lol Mine has the pointers instead of rhinestones and a low dome glass crystal...duplicate otherwise.
I know it's a whole lot more work/effort, but it may be good to take a pic of the back of these types of dials if/when they are removed for service etc... so we could see the various stamped numbers and possible redial info scribed by refinisher on dial backs if/when they are there. Don't know what these mean, but they could at minimum indicate refinishing if not be further translated.
