14 KT  Rose gold filled I belive this is a Douglas, I could find no ad to support this though Band is a rose gold plate also. 21 jewel 8AE MOVEMENT.

Thank you JP my wife surprised me with this yesterday when i got home from work.  Seems she has caught my bulova bug lol.

Good for her and you. The watch is definitely a Douglas 48 model with a dial variant. Check the search button and mybulova watches and go to the 1948 year and you will find it with a different colored dial but the case and movement match up.

Check the vintage ads for 1948 and page 4 has your watch and says it comes in white, gold and rose.

Looks like maybe the dial was changed at some point. Case and movement are the same but dial is differnt.
