This is a 1948 Bulova. It's 14k rose RGP bezel with a stainless steel back.
I'm guessing it's a 1948 American Clipper because of the recess in the dial for the sub-second hand, but I would like an expert to confirm it.
Other than that it looks like a Franklin to me.
Merc, is it possible to please add the photos of your watch direct to this entry using the available upload feature?
The problem with using 3rd party image hosting like photobucket is that in years to come those images will probably dissappear, removing vital information from this records.
Some of the member comments might highlight elements within these photos and if they dissappear, which they will probably do one day, it makes those comments worthless.
We had issues with member addinng images using this method, only find those images gone years later.

I totally agree with you Stephen. Photobucket locked me out years ago after I had tons of photos on there. It started out free and after they had my photos they wanted to charge me in order to keep them. I just checked here and it looks like I can still edit this post. I will upload new photos, but try to keep them of the same features on this watch as soon as I have time. Maybe I can take better photos this time. Lol!
