Watch Description

My Wife found this one out shopping. She was very excited that it was still working. Looks to be from 1927-28 time period similar to the Magnolia.

Thanks, I didn't notice the similar features in the 1940 models, but I see the similarity now.

And it is in FABULOUS condition.

Those dials don't normally look this great after almost 69 years

Your watch must have 21 jewels, like all HE

your watch will be His Excellency "SS" from 1948 year

I agree that it resembles the His Excellency SS but would like confirmation of the jewel count before I commit. MGD, can you please opo the back off and give us an update on the number of jewels AND the date code on the movement?

Okay I opened this one and on the inside cover it had etched:

wo 938

225156

2927Y

6VU/71

The inside states:

21 Jewels

7AK

I hope this helps, thank you all for your efforts!
