1948 Bulova Mary Lou

Case is yellow gold 10KT RGP with stainless back, Bulova New York (stated on inside of caseback), it does not have any date stamps, only the serial No. Movement is a running 17-Jewel 6BK dated 48. Original expansion band does not exist.

It sure looks like Mary Lou, dating a watch with a serial number after 1946 starts to get tricky, some serial numbers will correspond with the movement and many won't. I would stick with the movement date on this one.

Sure looks like the Mary Lou, so hard to see detail of these tiny little watches in the tiny little adverts we have. This one looks like new, I'd say Mary Lou didn't get out much - very nice Ken.
