Watch Description

I think this most closely resembles a 1949 Heather, although the only picture I've found is a drawn advertisement so far, and the connector of the band looks a little different in shape.  I also saw the same face on your site, but in a different case with a different band "Her Excellency K", so not sure if one or the other is the original, and one is a mix, or if that was done frequently when buying them? 10K rolled gold plate bezel.  Working.  Found among my 80 year old mother's jewelry, but most likely given to her by a previous owner (her mom or her mom's employer who was a doctor's wife.)

Very nice watch. thanks for sharing your heirloom with us. You are correct, your Mom's watch is a

1949 Heather

On a replacement band that probably dates to the 1960's, which is more common than not. Bands wore out and were replaced.

1949 Bulova Heather looks to be a good match.
