10k gold filled. Says "Swiss" below 6 o'clock. Crown is stamped Bulova. Band is 10k gold filled top and stainless steel bottom Speidel stretch band. Case back is gold filled. Case dates to 1949 (A9), movement dates to 1947 (47).

Hello again Wangbow, looks like you're cleaning out your Bulova cupboard! I'd say this in an His Excellency model. There were many different variant to these watches with dozens of case and dial combinations. I can't nail down exactly which this is so I'll stick just with 'His Excellency'.

Yeah that is basically what I am doing, along with just trying to learn more about what I have. I has previous thought this was a His Excellency model so I guess I was on the right track. Would the Speidel band be original, sounds almost like a stupid question, or was it swapped a long time ago?

I'm not sure, Speidel was making watch bands during this era but it's hard to be certain that Bulova was using them on their watches. It is possible that it is original.
