If they are not correct why are there so many examples out there with these hands ?

Surely if there are so many out there could it not be possible that they were produced at some time with these hands. Because all the panel realy has to go on is the adds.

Im not disputing that as such l was only asking why so when there are many tuxedo's out there with the same  *modern*  hands.

I don't think any of the Tuxedo ads are showing modern hands, although we have watch records or there are watches out there with modern hands, they may have just not come on the watch at original point of sale.

It may be that the fils hands are a bit more frigile and were easily damaged  when the watches were serviced and therefore were replaced with modern's
