Watch Description

The case appears to be a 1952 (L2) Berkshire or Air King, but the movement is an 11AF (1959-67) stamped L9. The crown i  s not stamped. The face doesn't match other Berkshires on the site, having additional concentric rings.  Despite the scratches which show on camera, it looks great to the naked eye, and is easily my favourite watch.

Sweet "Berkshire" sir...  I think we go with the case.  The movement/dial look to be from a late 50's His Excellency model.

Looks good IMO.... though not as simplistic in it's execution.

I would concur with Plains on this one.

Non-conforming due to the mix-match of the dial, movement and case.
Interesting combination though.

I guess I'd have to vote Non Conforming as well. It is an interesting combination, I rather fancy it but I don't think we can label it a Berkshire.

I agree w/ non-conforming to the ads and info for Berkshire.  Nice combo though.

For what it's worth, I Just happened across this one again; it appears the dial and movement are from a 1959 Jaguar. Jaguar had a solid gold case. I suspect the case was scrapped for gold and the face and movement given a new home.
