GOOD ONE, Jerin... I sent a couple of these to Philip and Gary, before... (Had no CLUE about the ID, then!)

And your ad crop is labeled "1950" vs. '52?

:-)  Scott

P.S. And I'm not sure where I got this "10AUC" movement for a ROUND bezel  '50 "Duo Wind?"

BUT likely from here? So I presume you deduced a "52" release, based on the newer movement, then???

Yeah pretty much Scott.  The only ad we have was from '50.  The case is a 51... with a 52 movement inside.

Interesting how the "ebb and flow" goes "to and frow" (with cases and movements, etc.) eh???

:-)  Scott

P.S. And Chris just posted a Winchester, apparently???

The only ID we have on a Trylon is for a pocket watch in the line books.

The fourth picture in the root record- Plains pic of the movement- appears to have a date code of L0.  I must be seeing this wrong?  Ranfft lists 10CSC as 1952-1954.

Is this 1952 Duo Wind now possibly considered a Thayer?  The Root level Ad is dated 1950. The new numerous Thayer ads dated 1952 seem to match this watch better than the 1950 Duo Wind ad with the exception of Self Winding on subject dial (all Thayer ads w/ Duo Wind on the dial).  Is the Thayer housing an 11 or 10 movement?
