Inherited a jewelry box full of watches. The 5 Bulova I posted and some others like Elgin, Walker, Waltham, Lucerne, etc.  Love the look of those old watches.

Needs to be cleaned and serviced. It currently works. Needs a new strap.

My first thought was Beau Brummel but I can't find a match even to Beau. I wonder if this was was a customized watch?

I think so. It has 12 Diamonds on the face. Haven't seen anything like it on this site or other sites. It's very heavy and could use a good cleaning. I believe that this watch was either my Uncle Vito's, who was a retired Cook County Illinois Courtroom Officer, or my Uncle Russel's, who was a retired U.S. Army Captain.

The jewelry box is a culmination of many of my ancestors belongings, so no way to tell.

I was thinking Beau also, but I don't see anything that matches. The watch should clean up vey well, if you get the case polished along with the service to the movement, it will look stunning.

I'd say this one was a stunning watch when new, and has some good potential to be so again. Could possibly be a Beau, but have to go with unknown at this time. The case design is very similar to the Sea King of that era, but that one had a plated case that loaded from the top, not solid gold with removable back.

This appears to be a 1953 Beau Brummell based on this 1957 Line Book listing BAWD0132 Page 133 of 162.  It is a four year gap but the watch its a dead match.
