The case looks similar to this one

It also has a 10BT (17J) movement, but the dial is different.

do you think the someone put a different crystal on mine . mine has that funny shape to it, it's not flat but pointy in the center.

The Crystal has no bearing on model ID.

Yes, not to worry about the variant but 'RUXTON' is a clear match: Case, Dial and Movement.

Could be the "Moonbeam" which is very similar but known to have the quadrated crystal. Depends on the year produced and the dial configuration. I'll have to dig into this a bit more to be sure one way or the other. Both are so close in design.

doesnt this period Ruxton case have two indents/divits on the long side of bezel from side view?  See case at sideview and possible Ruxton case ID.

well....I shoulda looked closer at ad in thread.  Guess not in this case.
