Additional Information

Adding to my nurse watch collection is this beauty.  The case is around the same size as the Medical Center but with the unique lugs.  I think the crystal is the same size as well.

It has a 10K gold filled case that is date stamped L4.  The movement is a 17 jewel working 6BDC date stamped L3.  This is a new movement for the DB.  The dial has a red sweep second hand.  It has a 10mm lug width.

I couldn't find an ad for this model.  I saw one months ago and now I can't find it now.  Looking at the price list for 1954 it might be a Red Cross but no way to know for sure at this point.

That's a super cool case design. If I know you, you'll not stop until you find an advert :-)

I'm hoping for 'Red Cross' as it's a fitting name for this beauty!

Very cool. I'm with you, I've seen this case before and am sure I've seen an ad......but can't find it.

I highly suspect this is a Red Cross model.

Possibly like this one:

Just MHO, I can find no advert support.

Unknown for now.

I think so too.  I have a red cross crystal and it the correct size.  But I still haven't been able to find the ad I saw for it awhile back.
