Additional Information
I purchased a jewelry box at an estate sale and this was inside. I have been doing some research on this watch and have not found much about it. I did come across one like it with some minor differences. The closet in similarity on this website is the Beverly but that makes the date off by two year.Based on the code table you have provided it is a 1955 watch. The front reads Bulova and underneath is the number 23. There are 2 jewels. Stretch link band. The back reads 10K ROLLED GOLD PLATE. Below that reads BULOVA L5. At the bottom it reads M64484. Two links of the band reads PAT. PEND CUSTOM SIZE. One Link reads Duchess(in cursive) and /20-10KG F. TOP. The side piece to set the watch is missing. Please tell any information about this watch. It would be greatly aprrieciated.

Would agree with the La Petite and suggest the "B" variant.

L5 on the Caseback Dates the Case to 1955, M64484 is the Seriel number.
23 on the Dial indicates the number of Jewels in the Movement.
2 Diamonds, 23 Jewels in this era suggests a 'LA PETITE'.
