The shapes and design are typical of the Senator models, see 1955 Senator B for example http://www.mybulova.com/watches/1955-senator-b-1243. These models also took the 11 calibre movements. I have found the details below with regards to crystal which is correct, I have just fitted one to this model.

I agree with your annoyance. The available ads are so limited. I counted 8 pages of "unknowns" at about 30 unknows per page, almost as many as known models. There must be a better way of collecting all of the bits and pieces of IDing information. Loew's certainly did us a disservice by destroying the records.
