Sweet Bulova 23 Jewel watch with crazy unusual lugs! It's sporting an obvious 23 Jewel, 10BPAC movement. The dial on this watch is and immaculate white Sunburst style. Watch works well. Oh I also forgot to mention.... the back of this watch opens just like an accutron. It has a retaining ring you have to unscrew and then the plate pops off. Very much seems like a precurser to the Accutron 214 or 218.

Didn't an ad surface suggesting this was the "D", or was that stainless? I'm looking now, but if someone remembers.......
EDIT: Looks like the "D" in linked ad has different hour markers than subject watch.
This gets confusing. The ad above may be ambiguous. The price lists are not. I'm saying one is more "correct" than the other, as the price lists are not ambiguous, and are consistent across years.
In ad above, check out the different fonts for the "Wht. or yellow" after the "H". Check out the fonts for the price at bottom of ad. Also different fonts than main text of ad. Looks like they may have been typed in by whomever ran the ad. ...and I think they got confused when typing...
Price Lists:
The 31315W refers to the White Case , and has the variant letter "F" in 1955, and the "FW" variant by 1958. Price for all 31315 is $85.
The lists show a model 31311, in Yellow Case, having the variant "H" in 1955 and the variant "HW" by 1958. Price for all 31311 is $95.
I'm saying, at this time (1956 watch/1957 ad):
The "H" is yellow and costs $95.
The "F" (variant letter not mentioned in ad) is White and costs $85.
The ad text description for 31315W is for the white "F".
The ad price is for the yellow "H".
