Hi Amy, welcome to myBulova. I think the model name of your watch is 'La Petite' although the photo is just small enough that I can't quite make out all the details. Click this link and you'll see another watch that we identified as 'La Petite'.

I wonder what the back of the watch says, is there something that starts with an L or M? I'm not 100% sure your watch is from 1955, I think it might be a little newer.

The back states the following: 10k Rolled Gold Plate

                                                  Bulova L6



The face of it states Bulova 23

The band itself is gold with diamonds all around

I would love to get a quote and possibly sell
