Watch Description

Here is an interesting one from a garage sale. Bulova marked 10BRC Movement - rotor is stamped L1, case is stamped L6. I have had no luck researching this one, with the exception of finding one on Lisa's site listed as an unknown.

This one in my possession is backmarked "stainless steel back - shock resistant - anti-magnetic - self winding - *water proof * - Bulova" along with serial number and L6. Band is Speidel scissor center. Shadow face is marked "Bulova" and "Self Winding".

It seems this one would be easy to identify having such distinctive lugs. Alas, I find no match at all....

When I found the ID for this one, the name struck me as kind of curious. It seemed familiar, so I googled and found the Dodge Royal Lancer, produced from 1953 to 1959. The second generation was 1955/56. I would guess a lot of Bulova model names had some significance to the designers or Executives of the time as opposed to just random thoughts. I wonder if somebody just bought a new car in the design dept. and thought it was a cool name. I sure do. Here is a 1955/56 Dodge Royal Lancer, just for the heck of it.
