Watch Description

This one had me stumped for a bit then I noticed the dial appears to be a 1956 Bulova Senator "C" but the dial has been re-enameled in black.  The case is gold plated with a stainless case back with a L6 date code.   As noted the dial has been re-enameled in black.  THe movement is a 11AC also with an L6 date code.

I would suspect that the black dial carried a different variant, if it existed. Unless this is a custom paint job.

1956 Bulova Senator for now though would be my ID.

No this one the dial has definitely been painted over.  It is much more bvious in person.

I agree with Senator "C", dial refinished, and I could not find a black dial variant.

The missing outer minutes track and subdial details is a dead giveaway.
