Watch Description

The watch is 14k gold with an expandable wrist band. On the back, the case number says "740010" and there is also a faint "763" by the crown. I believe there are 16 diamonds in total. I did not try to open it and I do not have anymore information about this watch. I'm assuming the watch is around 1960 but I do not know for sure. Also in case you're interested, the watch appears to be working well. Any information that you could provide about this watch would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.

I should add that the watch is only white gold as it's sort of difficult to see from the pictures.

I was able to get the back open, which was much easier than expected. The specs are: movement model is "6C", 17 jewels, and the date code is "L7". So the date is 1957 and not 1960. There is also 2 areas where there is some faint writing on the inside of the back case, which is really hard to make out. Writing on inside of back case

I suspect that the band it an aftermarket add-on and that the diamonds are not real.

The watch however will have real diamonds.

According to the 1957 Bulova Linebook your watch is a 1957 Bulova Marquise "I". Here you can see the original cord band.

Hello,  I changed the date to 1957 based on the serial number and the date code on the movement of L7.  Still looking for a model.

1957 Bulova Marquise I is a good ID. The bracelet is a very nice addition.
