Men's Bulova. Possible Gold filled case with open lugs. 10BU movement. Inscription on the back has worn through, and I can't tell if it's repair marks on the case back or not, but it's obscured.
1958 Bulova President. Certainly looks like someone has repaired the back case. The watch was obviously worn for many years and no doubt served its wearer well....as all Bulova's did :-)

Looks like the jeweler was a little "heavy handed" and went too deep when engraving, and then tried to fix his "oops". Based on the movement oxidation, it's been like that a long time.
I fixed one like this to make it wearable for the short term with a disc of metal duct tape on the case inside. It comes by the roll and has a peel off paper backing. It's not a long term permanent fix, but will keep out moisture and prevent further damage to the face and movement.
