Additional Information

I believe this to be a Jet Clipper. Got it for a bargain on eBay and couldn't be happier with it! It runs and looks great. The dial is beginning to show some patina which should make it look really unique in the future. The only thing that worries me are the hands, as they almost look rusty. Maybe just pitted? And it seems a bit hard to set, like it needs to be lubricated perhaps? The lume is is pretty nice shape and glows nicely, but shortly. Also, I was wondering about a quicker and easier way to set the date. Luckily it wasn't too far off, but if it ever sits for long, I'd like to know a faster way to set the date rather than just continuously advancing the time until I eventually get there. Any help would be appreciated.

Case and 11AFACD movement are both dated 1962 (M2). All stainless steel. "Waterproof", shock resistant, anti-magnetic. It's a really nice little watch and I'm surprised I was able to get it so affordably.

Finally figured out a way to post a supporting ad, ha ha!

Nice one! I agree, it's a

1962 Jet Clipper (variant unknown)

Going off the ad you reference. Case, face and jewel count are a match. I find no examples in the Db as a Jet Clipper, but the ad seems pretty clear.

Good ad find, Kathy, I missed that one.

JC "G" looks like a match.

I just changed the ad.  I think it is the "I", the "G" is a textured dial I think.  Thought I caught it before anyone saw ; )

The ad is a little confusing as to which description goes with which watch. Lugs match the bottom illustration so is the bottom watch the "G" or "I"? Based on band description, I think it's The "I"

'J' is the bottom watch, and through other ads I have found this is the Yellow Gold plated version; 'I' is the similar model in SS.

'G' is the watch on the right, in yellow gold plate

Got it. I missed the case color and agree subject watch is the "I" variant.

Correct on the Jet Clipper 'I' variant. 'I' was the stainless version with calendar; changed to the Date King 'U' around 1964.
