This looks to be an early 50s model called the Randall. Example here.

Can you confirm the case datestamp, it looks to be L2 - which would make this a 1952 instead of the 1962 entered in the record manuf year field.

Thank you, all. This was my grandfather's wristwatch, and he's long passed. Glad to know a bit more about this object.

Very clean looking design.

The 10BRC (which is what should be under the hood) Is the 10''' version of the 9AS. This precedes Bulova's later system of naming calibres with identifying letters like the second 'A' in 11ALA to indicate automatic winding. The 'C' in this case denotes Centre sweep hand.
