I wonder if "Solid caseback" means it's a one piece case which you "lift" the crystal to remove the movement or it has a snap on bezel. In either case it would have a 2 piece stem.

Haven't we seen this case before? The lugs look familiar.

Found in the 1964 Line Book BAWD0158 page 15 of 48 on page marked "Bulova 23".  Model # on black is 01313W vs 01312W for white I assume the EW variant is black.

Also it appears that on a bracelet is was called a Regatta,

Actually found another listing. This one in the 1963 Line Book BAWD0151 page 59.  I think this is the one.

I'm looking at the luminous dots on the dial of the subject watch and seeing the black dialed watch in the middle of the three - Is that the Regatta 23 MM? I think the minute markings are really the only difference

The Regatta is from the 1964 line book.  The only match in the 1963 Linebook is the EE.
