Additional Information:

I bought this 1964 Accutron Railroad approved from a Dutch Accutron specialist. I wanted to have a watch for daily use and instead of buying a new watch of brand X I decided to go for something special and with history. This was the first Bulova I purchased. Watch is completely cleaned and runs perfectly. The original dial is available as well.

Good point Ken.  If this case was out in 1964 w/ some other dial, it may have had another model name.  If the 262 and 226 were not in the 1964 Price Lists, then they may not have been available this early.

I think Ken is on to something. I'd go along with the 202 for an ID, after all, Bart has the original dial.

Me too, good logic and ad match for period correct model 202.

Here's the cumulative section of the Bulova "Fair Trade" price contract modification from Spring 1964.  Ken mentions earlier in thread.
