Hello , i am posting my 1966 clipper/ or some variant of a clipper, Clipper is the closest match i could find..the case is,i would say the same as the one one with the multicolored dial in the database.. the other clippers ie sea yankee, the case wasn't the same or the lugs didn't match...if i am wrong i am sure some one will correct me...the movement is the 11afac, which when i recieved the movement wasn't running.the oil was all dried up and just needed a cleaning...this was my first automatic,working on this movement was exciting...it was like working on my third movement ever(since i broke the first 2 i tried to clean)..it was something new and fun,after the rotor and the gears to the mainspring its all the same anyway...my next watch is going to be a ladies which will be my 1st and is a 6az in that martha i posted....the dial on this watch is in mint condition and changes when the light hits it...i guess the dial stayed in such great shape because of the waterproof case...the movement was places on a timing machine ,had close to 300 amplitude..also i think the band is original,i have seen this band many diffenert bulovas..anyway enough of me talking here are the pics...

As long as nothing is broken, all you need is patience, a few specific tools and supplies, and some guts and you can get these running well enough, maybe not perfect, as that should be left to the pros, but well enough for most of us. And your right, the autos are just a few extra parts stacked on top of the standard stuff...chronos are another story lol, a LOT of extra parts crammed on top, next to under neath...any where they could fit them...someday soon I hope, I can send my 1 chrono off to be fixed...not a Bully, but a nice early Pierce, with the new then clutch system for the chrono functions. Wish it was a Bully but those are way pricey for some odd reason lol.
It seems that with all of the good we do on this site, we are having an effect on values of Bulovas on the bay...at least on nice ones.
i like those old Pierce chronos..my watchmaker has one..he doesn't know what to do with it..but it is an interesting piece...i was thinking about buying it but i don't know..it doesn't seem like he is in a hurry to get rid of it..so i have sometime to think about it..
