Additional Information

I found this watch in a dumpster in 2010. I confronted the owner of the debris and he told me it was given to him for meeting a sales quota in the 60's. He said he was aware he threw it away and that I could keep it. I wear it occassionally and it has become one of my favorite watches. It is the watch that led me to

Nice watch.

I think we have a new definition of "fanatical Bulova collector".

It's now the end of March 2012. In November '11 (four months ago) I was given Dr's orders not to lift more than 10lbs and have subsequently been unemployed.

Since then, I have sold more than $1,700 worth of "trash" at online auction. ...and the only reason I go looking is in the hopes of finding another watch.

That beautiful Bulova above has been incredibly inspirational to me. Thanks for looking and thanks for your comments.

Looks like the Date King GG to me.  Good ad find.   I've PMed Superbison to check in on the new ad and probable change from Senator to Date King.
So would we change to generic Date King and then "vote" on the variant match?  Let me know. I don't think Date King "GG" is in the drop-down list yet anyway.....
EDIT:  Maybe "Base Model" is a better term than "Generic"
EDIT:  Changed from Senator to Date King
