Watch Description

Hello,

Another recently acqired watch!  I perused the advertisements, but unfortunately was not able to locate this model.  There are two very small diamonds where the watch band connects.  Any information would greatly be appreciated.

Thank you!

A 1967 Bulova La Petite is what you have here. These were extremely popular in the day as we see a good many variations of this series. We should have plenty of adverts on site to show you the original price and variations.

Hello Sherry Lynn, looks like you might have been bitten by a watch collecting bug. I'm having a hard time finding the match, (I wish your photos were larger.)

I think this is a match to the LaPetite shown below.

I was able to upload another picture.  Hopefully this will help.  I think that the advertisement referenced (item 15) is "spot-on"!  The band may be different, however, I have no idea if this is the original band.

I'm curious about a couple of things:

1) Would you consider the shape of the case Oval, or something else?

2) Do you think the advertisment is a photograph, or a drawing?

By the way, the watch runs great!  And, yes....I think I have been bitten by the Bulova watch bug!

Thank you ALL for helping me.

Sherry - my guess is that you have a replacement band. I would call the shape Tonneau (barrel shape). I think the ad is a drawing.

PS a larger photo of the front would be nice too.

Here is a closer look at the face of the watch.  Thank you ALL (again) for everything!
