Watch Description

This Banker watch is harder to find since it comes with black dial and less were produced. Most Bankers came with a white/silver dial.

Its an original black dial, some repair were done on the dial around its edges I know I did the repair.

Hello shubaj, welcome to myBulova. This is a classy looking watch. I like a black dial in yellow gold case. I agree that the case is a '66 Banker. We don't have too many examples in either the watch or the adverts dB of this one. Everything we have shows a Roman dial although it seems there were many variants so a black dial with hash marks is quite possibly an original variant. Thanks for sharing it.

Not finding a match for that dial layout in any watch. Nearest match for the dial is a GOLDCRAFT in 14K gold.

Next nearest is the BANKER "E", but the hour markers don't match, and the dial has extra lines as seen in the linked ad below.

The BANKER "N" & "O" have Roman numerals, and the CRAFTSMAN "M" has 21 jewels and different dial.

I think it is an "UNKNOWN".

I'm good with Tentative Banker, Unknown variant.  Similar to OT's 1966 example here, but w/ black dial.
Not sure of year for ad below, but similar dial markings, or at least not Roman (sans the lines inside the markers).  Most if not all ads show the mesh band as original.

I'm sorry Will, but those markers are nothing like the subject watch's.

The 3,6,9,12 look vaguely similar, but the rest don't match at all. The case could belong to a GOLDCRAFT for all we know.

Doesn't the Goldcraft have 21 jewels?  Subject watch is presented with 17 jewels.  ..and I'm tentative on Banker no variant.

I think we need to reconsider this one based on the 1967 Line Book BAWD0168 page 13 of 58
