Thank you so much! It was my deceased dad’s watch and holds a lot of meaning to me! Also, it’s my birth year so that makes it have even more value to me. After he passed away, it sat on my shelf. It needed a replacement stem. I tried a couple of the National repair shops over a couple year period with no luck, then this past summer I took it to my local jeweler. He had an economical source so we sent it. Once I got it back, I had an ox blood strap put on it. Now, I wear it often and think of my dad, of course. The movement on it is exceptional too! I have a Rolex Oyster Precision in my watch collection and I think the movement on this watch rivals it (my eyes can’t tell the difference).
